Tree

Heres a painting I did for a class. Turned out not bad. The actual size is pretty huge. 5 by 4 feet or something. I don't even remember anymore. Anyway, I learned a lot working on this thing and hope to continue more illustrations in the future. Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh and this is oils on canvas (that was hand made by myself, stretched and everything).

Munny Thingy.

Myjah bought me a Munny a while back. We finally got around to painting them today. Turned out awesome.

Zach

Zach, from the time I knew you, until the time of your passing, you were an amazing person. You were an amazing friend. I don't understand why this happened to you, but I still keep expecting you to just show up one day as a surprise. I painted this to remind everyone that you'll always still be here, with us. Keep climbing, buddy.

CSU Summer arts program

So this is what I managed to pump out in about two weeks at a program called CSU Summer arts. It was an amazing time. We worked hard, like... really hard. But in the end it was all worth it. The story and animation were all done by me. The music was done by Ryan Adam Rey. He did a great job. I met some awesome people during those two weeks and we formed equally awesome friendships. I'm sure I will see them in the future.

Figure Painting Final

This is my figure painting final. The project was basically pick something random with a figure in it. I like astronomy so I just drew a guy in space reaching for home. It was done in oils and touched up in photoshop.

Demo Reel # 2

A little preview to why there has been no updates for a while here. I also have been doing speed paintings, but I'll wait to post those. Here's to getting into the CSU Summer Arts Academy in Fresno State this summer!

Last Figure Painting

So this is our last figure painting for the semester. Unfortunately, I was not too happy with my end product, but what can you do. We have one more project after this and I don't think we are going to use a model.

Coming soon.. my animations. There are just none that are polished yet.

Tarot Card

Over Christmas break last year, I signed up for a gift exchange that me and my friends do. The theme that time was "Tarot" card. It works like a secret Santa type of gift exchange. The idea was you get a name and a tarot to match and you make it fit their personality, or whatever. I got my friend Phil. He likes street fighter and he likes Ren and Stimpy. I put him and his roommates together into one big brawl.

Self Portrait

Heres a self portrait where I made my self look fatter for some reason. This one was done in acrylic instead of oil like the figure paintings were done.

More Figure painting to come

Wasn't quite feeling it on this one. Plus we had only two sessions on it. Its incomplete, but better since the start.

Figure Painting part Deux

This time we had the model for a few days, maybe three? I forget. I had a lot more fun on this one even though it didn't get to be complete.

Figure Painting Series

So I'm taking a figure painting class this semester. Things are coming to a close. I figured I'd start updating this thing.

This first painting is a quick sketch we did in one session. Its oil paints and my first time using them since I first painted at the age of 11... or 10. Whatever, when smart phones were in movies and not in real life.
